Technical Diving

Step 1:

Call 222-DIVE (3483) For an orientation interview appointment to see if this special advanced diving is for you.

Step 2:

Receive a home study video and course materials that allow the academics to be done in your own home, at your leisure, prior to your first class session.

Step 3:

Academic review and pool session:
Join us at Scuba Ventures for (4) informative, conversational academic sessions, reviewing advanced dive planning, Physics, Physiology, and Gear requirements involved in technical diving. One fun pool session learning how to utilize the new equipment configurations. Unlimited pool practice sessions are available, and encouraged prior to Open Water.

Step 4: Open Water Checkout

Option 1: Lake Ouachita, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Advanced Nitrox Dive Planner will be provided upon completion of your academics and pool session. Join us on our custom dive boat "Lake Ouachita Explorer" for the required open water dives. A fun weekend with lunch from the grill on Sunday.

Saturday: Will be spent learning to dive in the open water with the advanced gear configurations, practicing dive skills and gathering personal dive information. A dive planning session will be held later in the day to plan Sundays Dive.

Sunday: We put it all together. Using our dive plan, we will perform two advanced dives utilizing your newly learned skills.

OptIon 2:
Have your team plan a Florida trip for the check out dives. With additional Classes in Decompression and or Wreck Diving.
